My admiration of the media began at a very early age. I remember watching the nightly news religiously with my family, as most people did back then. And I can remember being awestruck at how articulate, well delivered, and colorful each story was.
When I was 6 or 7 years old I had no clue what an editor or journalist was. I just knew I wanted to tell stories. And as I got older, I learned about telling stories though radio production, video production, and of course the written word. I wanted to do it all.
I’ve had some amazing experiences in storytelling. Starting in the Armenian community, throughout Loyola Academy and Loyola University Chicago, and most recently working at a monthly magazine. With economic upheavals and political climates, there’s never shortage of stories to be told in any field.
Galian Omnimedia brings together my work, my skills, my talents, and above all my passion for storytelling. You’re getting to see another side of who I am. A creative, multitalented and tech savvy, fun, highly inquisitive omnimedia professional.
